You are king!

You must determine whether or not you’re going to become a king in this world or another insignificant member of the crowd.
I guess you would rather be a king! But becoming a king doesn’t come so cheap, it comes with fully loaded principles and processes to follow. Becoming a king doesn’t happen by magic or luck but with a lot of tablets that you must take a dose of each every day.
Let’s go through some of the tablets you will have to daily to be a king in your world. Like a popular musician said ‘everybody is a king in his world but is that sentence correct?
These are the Keys to Being a Hero in a World Full of Competition
- Avoid Distractions:
Distractions are like weeds in a well-cultivated vegetable farm that host diseases and hinder the uptake of nutrients by your crops.
I remember hanging out with old school mates but my eyes were glued to my cell phone, my fingers tapping away. By the time I got interested in the conversation they were having, I had missed out on so many important discussions.
That was how I have blown a special moment with my friends because I allowed something on my phone to distract me.
On its own, that incident wasn’t such a big deal.
However, the scenario repeated itself more regularly and I knew if I was going to live the kind of life I wanted, I had to change and chances are, you do too.
Distractions aren’t necessarily your fault, but managing them is your responsibility. In a world that is so noisy, hearing might become very difficult but you must discipline your ear to hear what you want it to hear no matter how many people are talking. If you want to be a king then learn to manage distractions.

Mike Tyson will say “Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the face.” The reality of life is that situations will arise to sway you off track but don’t give in.
Even if life knocks you down, pick up yourself and keep moving. There’s no reward for quitting, only real winners get awarded!Some people are getting drowned gradually in the ocean of life unconsciously with little or no knowledge of it. Kings are known for the wars and battles they conquered, that is whatever life challenges you are facing now are only preparing you for the throne. The crown will not be given to you on a bed of roses but by the wars you conquer and the territories you have taken over. Always wake up every day determined to go to war.
Remember, only a determined fellow wins because while others give in to failure and bow to defeat, a determined being sees a golden opportunity in every challenge and takes hold of it. Kings don’t up, they are always ready to give their last sweat in other to become victorious, you cannot become a king thinking like a slave, you must be ready to quit your slavery position no matter how celebrated it might be. Joseph was a celebrated slave but he only had one place on his mind which is the palace.
- Become Deeply Committed: Being committed means making a solid, well-thought-out plan that display the best path to achieve your goals and then sticking to them without deviating from your plan.
Meaningful commitment gives you a possible script which allows you to know how to handle things when times get tough.
John Maxwell says “commitment separates the Doers from the Dreamers.” As you know, people only celebrate the “Doers.” Only those who can achieve greatness will be applauded so, the choice is yours! To be a Doer or to simply be a Dreamer!!!

Since you’re reading this article, it’s a step that you’re in the right direction.Action establishes habits. The more you do something, the easier it is to keep doing it.
By taking action, you are setting yourself up for a greater chance of crushing your goals.
“Action is the heartbeat of success.” Being a king means being bold and confident to take action no matter what is ahead looks like. Even when what is ahead looks very scary and intimidating, be bold to take action.Taking action at the right time separated kings from slaves. Don’t live all your life as a celebrated slave when you are destined to be a king. We know a king by how committed they are to his vision in life. Whenever you are realised that being a king is the only option you have in life then you will wake every day doing things that will keep you on the path of kingship.
